Celebrating the continued tradition of excellence in teaching Anatomy

For 23 years, Anatomy Dissection at the University of Maryland in Baltimore has included an Instructor or two from Austria. Each of these experts in prosection have done research with either Oscar Aszmann, MD, who started this tradition, and who is now a Professor of Plastic Surgery in Vienna, or with Dr. Dellon. Dr Dellon and his wife Luiann are seated, with Johannes Ebmer, MD, in his 21st year of this tradition, seated to Dr. Dellon’s right. Standing, are , Emily and her friend Georg Furtmueller, MD, currently in the Johns Hopkins Plastic Surgery research laboratory, and Florian, a medical student in Vienna. This dinner has occurred yearly in Baltimore celebrating the continued tradition of excellence in teaching Anatomy.
